It’s with no small excitement that we announce that we’ll be giving both a talk and a workshop at this year’s Blender Conference in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Check out the conference website and program.
In our talk (Friday 1.30PM, Theater @De Balie), titled “Markerless real-time motion capture in Blender”) we’ll be giving an overview of NI mate V2, dissect a few real-life examples of public projects made with NI mate and the Blender Game Engine, and finally offer a cool example of our recent work with the Intel RealSense family of depth sensors.
In the workshop (Saturday 10AM, Salon @De Balie) titled “Unleash your 3D camera: Intel RealSense in Blender”) we’re diving head first in to Blender, Intel RealSense and NI mate. We’ll be covering a host of cool new features available in Blender via NI mate’s upcoming RealSense integration, give working examples of use cases possible already and talk a bit more about larger, more complex scenarios such as scene perception for motion tracking.
Make sure you join us in Amsterdam or follow streams of the talks online through the Conference website!
