Connecting two sensors

#1

Hi everyone, Dear Support
I have been trying to connect two v2 kinect sensors using ni-mate, but every time it shows me there is two sensors connected but the output is coming from only one sensor, one of the reasons i purchased ni-mate because it said it has the ability to connect multiple sensors.
please let me know if there is any specific steps how to achieve this feature.

also can anyone please let me know how can I contact support directly?

thanks
Mark

Hello!

The Kinect for Windows v2 sensor does not currently support concurrent usage with another identical sensor. The SDK does not currently allow this, possibly due to the fact that the graphics card is used for some operations in processing the sensor’s data. You should be able to use another type of sensor alongside the Kinect v2 though. For example, a Kinect v2 and PrimeSense Carmine will function together.

You can read more here: Can I use multiple sensors of the same type concurrently?
