Live No Feed - Skeleton Track

Hello, I m a beginner in the forum. Firts Topic. So, sorry if i not very clear with my drafting and for my english. Well, let s do it. I m working with a kinect 1414 in windows 7 64 bits, on a VIAO PC ( 4 RAM and ADM Vision) . The problem is that in the “Kinect for windows 2”, i can t have a live feed from my Kinect camera to track the skeleton. Diferent case is with the oPen Ni(1), who s give me a live feed, like a RGB image ( for example). I had the same problem with the other controlers, like OPEN NI2, who doesn t give a image to " live ( no feed )". I tried to do the coments that i was finding all throughout other posts, like change the GPU transfer in the configurations and the drivers in the windos Kinect drives. This is a picture from the Log Ni Mate with the problems that i have when i run the program.

I was looking in the forum to find the errors that a i see in the log, or something like that, but i couldn t find it, and changed the usdbDk ( like in some other topic, but dosen t work). I was installing the Nimate in an other PC ( lenovo Legion 530, Windows 10 64 bits, same camera (1414) ) and i had the same problems. I will be waitting for some help, thank you so much.

For Kinect for XBox 360 model 1414, you want to use the “OpenNI 1” sensor. The one you have in your screenshot is a “dummy” device, one that doesdn’t actually connect to real sensors and is used for playbacking recordings.

So:

  • Plug in the sensor
  • Start NI mate
  • Go to setup page
  • Click “use” next to the detected sensor
  • Go to the OpenNI1 page to see your live feed

Thank you for your answer, Jesse. Yes, i was ussing the Open NI 1. But, I just was wondering about the other drivers, and i was afraid to something don’t go as it should. But now, i understand that it s allright.
