OK, changing the libusb didn’t do anything. This is the error I got with it:
Sensor test started for 200 frames:
progress: initializing device context
progress: USB enumeration
progress: USB open
progress: enumerating connected devices
Error with enumerating connected devices: Can’t create any node of the requested type!.
progress: Preparing led message
progress: Sending led message
shutting down sensor
QFile::remove: Empty or null file name
However, it does work on my older Mac laptop which is good. That means the kinect is working. Unfortunately I only have cinema 4d installed on my iMac so I’m not sure the best way to get the motion capture data from the laptop back to the iMac. I guess with the pro version I could save the data and transfer it, but I wanted to make sure it was going to work for my project before I bought it. Maybe I can get c4d installed on that machine…
But anyway, some progress! If you can think of anything else I could try to get it working on my iMac let me know, please.
