Rig is not moving in Blender Game Engine


Hello everyone,

I hired a Blender artist to build a VBS buddy for my church’s kids this summer. This is the 5th year I’ve done this, and still know very little about Blender.

This artist used a capture armature and copied its motions to the character armature. Motion wise in Blender it works great, however when the game engine starts, the character is frozen.

I’ve ensured both armatures have an always->and->run logic block, moved everything to 1 layer, confirmed vertex groups match bone names. Does anyone have any ideas where the disconnect may be?
